Students who have engaged in significant research in the sciences, mathematics, computer science, social sciences, or humanities, regardless of their high school program, may include a brief description of their research project in the Additional Research Questions section of the Amherst written application.

The following materials must be submitted: school report, high school transcript, high school diploma or recognized equivalent, college counselor recommendation, and two teacher recommendations (in English, math, science, social studies, or foreign language). For Early Admission (ED) applicants, senior year grades are also required.
