Follow these steps to apply Columbia University
Fill out the online application
When completing your application, please select the program and term for which you plan to apply. We encourage applicants to review the program terms and requirements on the program search page before applying.
Send transcripts
As part of their application for admission, applicants must provide current transcripts that reflect their complete academic history, including all completed undergraduate coursework.
Conduct standardized testing
Not all students are required to submit standardized test scores. Visit the program search page to see if your program requires additional materials, and review the English Language Proficiency section below if English is not your first language.
Re Vera Permission and Release Form
Applicants must provide consent to participate in a review of all letters of recommendation provided during the application process. Re Vera Services is a third-party vendor used by the College of Education to assist in reviewing application materials, including letters of recommendation.
Submitting an application and paying the registration fee
To officially apply, you must complete the signature section of the online degree application and then select “Submit Application.” You will then be asked to pay a non-refundable application fee of $75. Applicants may only apply to one program at a time.
