About University

Dean College was founded in 1865 as a girls’ school and was called Dean Academy. It became a coeducational institution in 1917 and was granted college status in 1981. The college is actively involved in sports. Students can participate in college teams in baseball, basketball, football, lacrosse, hockey and other sports. The college organizes various cultural and educational events, including guest artists, lectures and cultural festivals. Dean College is committed to the continuous improvement of its infrastructure and educational opportunities. This may include upgrading classrooms, libraries and technological resources.
