Follow these steps to apply Florida Atlantic University

If you are entering your freshman year of college, use the Common App. If you are transferring or seeking a second bachelor's degree, use the FAU App. Important: Submit only one application.

Pay the application fee

Pay a non-refundable $30 fee when you submit your application.

Provide education documents

For international students entering for the first time: Complete a high school assessment (including courses/subjects, grades and exam results, e.g. CXC/GCSE) from a NACES accredited agency. For students who have completed higher education abroad: You may request an internal evaluation from FAU's Foreign Degree Evaluator or provide a NACES-accredited evaluation (for each course, including grade point average).

Provide official test results

If you have earned less than 60 transfer credits, provide FAU with official SAT or ACT scores: SAT school code: 5229 ACT school code: 0729

Provide the results of the English language proficiency test

If English is not your first language, please provide results from English language proficiency tests (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS). If you do not meet the English language proficiency requirements, you can use the Conditional Admission (CAT) programme through the Intensive English Language Institute.
