International Black Sea University
International Black Sea University (IBSU) was founded in 1995 and is one of the top 5 universities in the country. IBSU trains specialists in more than 30 different specialties, more than half of which are taught in English. Keeping up with the times, the university takes into account the role of modern technologies and their impact on the labor market in its curricula. The IBSU campus is located in a picturesque suburb of Tbilisi, with excellent transport links to the city, access to various types of outdoor recreation, and a close-knit student community.

How to Enroll
Follow these steps to apply International Black Sea University
Review the programs and choose the one that suits you
The first step is to familiarize yourself with IBSU programs, admission requirements, and assess your relevant qualifications. Choose a program and specialization that matches your interests, educational and career goals.
Familiarization with University Deadlines
For spring semesters at IBSU, the application deadline is from November 15 to January 15, and for fall semesters, from June 15 to August 15.
Preparation of documents required for admission
Prepare the necessary documents: exam results, language tests, academic transcripts, resume, motivation essay and other documents.
Filling out an application for training
You can download and print the application form for studying at IBSU using this link: https://iro.ibsu.edu.ge/storage/2023/11/IBSU_R03F35_Application_Form-2023-2024.pdf The application must be filled out, signed, a 3x4 cm photo must be attached and everything must be scanned.
Submitting an application for training and paying the entrance fee
Please send your completed application along with all supporting documents to the IBSU International Relations Office by email at: iro@ibsu.edu.ge. You will need to pay an application fee of US$150.
Personal interviews
After reviewing your applications, the most successful candidates will be invited to in-person interviews. Interviews are conducted online. If you are selected for an interview, you will be notified by email.
Admission decision
After successfully passing the interview and paying the application fee, IBSU reviews applications within 2 months and makes a decision. If you have met the admission requirements and demonstrated sufficient motivation to study, you will receive a notification of admission by email.
Preparing for studies and obtaining a student visa
Once you receive a positive response from IBSU, you need to start applying for a student visa for a long-term stay in Georgia and booking accommodation.
