About University

The father of "free thinking", Murdoch University is a public university in Perth, Western Australia, which was founded as the state's second university in 1973. The university's first six specialist schools were established in 1974, and the university admitted its first undergraduate students in 1975. The inspiration for the name was Sir Walter Murdoch (1874-1970), the renowned writer, philosopher, founding professor of English and former Chancellor of the University of Western Australia. Murdoch University is now a thriving institution dedicated to teaching, learning and research, and is a member of the Innovative Research Universities Consortium. The university is affiliated with Innovative Research Universities, Open Universities Australia and Universities Australia.

How to Enroll

Follow these steps to apply Murdoch University

Registration on the TISC website

Login to the TISC website. If you are a Grade 12 student, you can log in using your WACE candidate number or TISC number. If you do not have either, you can register online.

Please rank your course preferences from 1 to 6.

Filling out the application form

Complete the application form by the deadline, and be sure to pay all required fees (if applicable).

Uploading documents

Please retain the cover page of your application for your records and submit all supporting documents listed on it.

Receiving confirmation

Check your inbox. Once you have submitted your application, TISC will send you a confirmation email.

Accepting an offer

Once your application has been approved, confirm your intention to enroll by following formal procedures and emphasizing your willingness to join the University's learning community.

Obtaining a visa

Once you have been accepted onto the course, you can apply to the Ministry of Home Affairs for a student visa. To apply for a visa, you will need: - A copy of the offer letter - A copy of the acceptance letter - Proof of payment of medical insurance for international students - Passport - Passport photographs - Medical certificate - Other documents relevant to any other visa requirement as requested by the Ministry of Home Affairs
