Northwestern University in Qatar (NU-Q), also known as Northwestern Qatar, is a campus of Northwestern University in Education City, Doha, Qatar, founded in partnership with the Qatar Foundation in 2008. Northwestern University's Qatar campus offers liberal arts and media education, with bachelor's degrees in communication, journalism, and strategic communication.

Preparation of necessary documents
Gather all the necessary documents: transcripts, letters of recommendation, standardized test scores (SAT or ACT), personal statement and resume.
Filling out the online application for admission
You can apply through Early Action, Regular Decision, or Transfer, all of which allow you to compare admissions and financial aid offers from other universities before May 1.
Payment of the entrance fee
A non-refundable application fee of $75 must be paid online by credit card upon completion of the application for admission.
Announcement of decisions
Early Action candidates are notified by mid-December. Regular Decision candidates are notified by the end of March. Transfer Decision candidates are notified by mid-April.
Making a deposit
Confirm your participation in the program by making a deposit for your place before May 1st.
Registration
New Student Orientation and fall classes begin in mid-August.
Obtaining a visa
