How to Enroll

Follow these steps to apply Peking University

Checking requirements

Make sure you meet the requirements: completed secondary education, have a valid passport, be under 25 years of age, have knowledge of Chinese (HSK-5/6) or proof of English proficiency (if the program is in English).

Choosing a specialty and program

Browse the catalog of specialties on the ISD PKU website and select the program you are interested in (pay attention to the language of instruction and faculty).

Collection of documents

Certificate and transcript, exam results or letter of expected results, motivation letter, recommendations, copy of passport, photo, possibly a video presentation.

Online application

Register and submit your application on the PKU Admissions Office online platform (usually via http://www.studyatpku.com ) – upload all documents and complete the application form.

Payment of the registration fee

Pay the application fee (usually 400-800 RMB, depending on the program); applications without payment will not be considered.

Send notarized documents by mail

It is necessary to send paper copies of documents (certificate, translation, certificates, etc.) within the specified time frame.

Undergo a secondary examination

If your documents pass the selection process, you will undergo additional academic review by university faculty.
