About University

Founded in 1875, Shenandoah University is a private liberal arts college located in Winchester, Virginia. The university's eight schools—the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Education and Human Development, the School of Business, the School of Health Professions, the School of Nursing, the School of Pharmacy, and the Shenandoah Conservatory—together offer more than 90 programs of study, each consisting of a variety of specialties.

There are over 80 student clubs and organizations that help bring students together, as well as 21 varsity sports teams, known as the Hornets, that compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Notable alumni of Shenandoah University include actress Kate Flannery, known for her role as Meredith Palmer on The Office, as well as Lost actor Harold Perrineau and Carter Beauford, the drummer for Dave Matthews' band.

Submitting an application for training and paying the entrance fee

Submit your application and supporting documents to Shenandoah University through your account. You will be required to pay a $30 application fee.

Personal Interviews (for applicants to Shenandoah Conservatory)

Applicants to the Bachelor of Music, Theatre and Dance programs at Shenandoah Conservatory must audition, interview, and have a portfolio review. Applicants to the Musical Theatre and Voice Performance programs will also be required to complete a preliminary interview before being invited to audition.
