About University

The University of Bristol is a generalist university, but it is particularly strong in the natural sciences. The highest ranking faculty is in the Faculty of Medicine and Life Sciences, in particular the Veterinary Medicine program, which is ranked 11th in the world, and the Psychology program, which was ranked in the top five in the country by the Times. The Marine Science and Physical Geography programs also have excellent academic performance and outstanding research results. It is also worth noting the quality of training of future teachers: the Faculty of Education Sciences has not only a reputation as one of the best in England, but also a high citation rate for articles in the scientific community, which means that teaching in this faculty is supported by a good research base.
