Filling in the application form

Please select one of the applications below and complete all required fields on the application. Your application will NOT be processed until your address in your country of citizenship is known. UHart Application for Admission - Please complete this online application. All students are welcome. 10-15 minutes to complete. The Common Application - Please complete this application if you are attending a secondary or preparatory school in the U.S. or an international school abroad. 30 minutes to complete.

Submit your academic credentials

Acceptance of documents for admission will begin on the basis of an electronic (scanned) copy of your academic transcript. However, your admission will not be final until an official transcript/record is received from each secondary institution you have attended. Important: All transcripts submitted in languages other than English must include a translation. Official academic transcripts must be mailed in a separate sealed envelope. How to get a UHart I-20

To obtain a UHart I-20 you will need to provide the following: A statement from your parents' bank showing a balance equal to or greater than the cost of attending the university for one academic year . This figure can be provided in local currency or US dollars. Financial Sponsorship Certification Form - please complete and return this form along with your bank statement. Pay Entry Fee Please complete, scan, and return the I-20 Request Form * I-20 Transfer Request Form - please complete, scan and return. Copy of passport - please scan and return. *Copy of U.S. visa - please scan and return. *These forms are ONLY required if you already have a valid visa and intend to study in the US. If you do not have a US visa, they are not required for the UHart I-20. You may submit them before your application is processed or after you receive notification of admission. Once we receive these forms, we will create your I-20 form.

ONLY for Fine Arts, Music, Performing Arts programmes

Please tick the following requirements only if you are applying for a degree in visual arts, music, theatre or dance. Portfolio Requirements at Hartford Art School Painting, sculpture, visual communication design, ceramics and illustration Submit an art portfolio of at least 15-20 pieces of work. It should include examples of your best work from the past 2 years, observational drawings, and other approaches that demonstrate your strengths. Please submit work that demonstrates the breadth and depth of your artistic endeavours and highlights your ideas and conceptual abilities as well as technique. Hartt School requirements - music, theatre and dance Admission to all majors at The Hartt School requires completion of a supplemental application to The Hartt School and an audition and/or interview.
