How to Enroll

Follow these steps to apply Vilnius University

Find a study program at Vilnius University

When choosing a program of study, pay attention to the program-specific requirements that must be met when applying. Keep in mind that each applicant can choose up to three programs of study.

Prepare the necessary documents

All applicants must meet general admission requirements and program-specific requirements (if applicable).

Pay the registration fee

The registration fee is 100 EUR per application (each applicant can select up to three programs within one application). The online application will only be processed after payment of the registration fee. The registration fee is non-refundable.

Submit your application online

Only complete applications submitted by the relevant deadline will be accepted. All requirements listed above must be met for the application to be considered for admission. You can apply at apply.vu.lt

Pay for tuition

Once you have confirmed your decision to study, you should transfer the tuition fee for the first academic year of study. The invoice will be sent via the online application system. The tuition fee for the first academic year of study must be paid within 15 calendar days from the day you receive the invitation to study (preliminary admission letter). After the student has paid the tuition fee, the International Relations Department provides the necessary information related to obtaining a temporary residence permit in Lithuania and sends the student an intermediary letter by e-mail (for citizens of non-EU countries).

Things to consider: – All international students must apply for a visa, temporary residence permit or temporary residence certificate in the Republic of Lithuania depending on their citizenship and the duration of their studies at Vilnius University.
