About University

Vytautas Magnus University is a modern, progressive, European higher education institution. In the first half of the 20th century, it was the only university in Lithuania. Partnership agreements have been concluded with 73 universities from 27 countries. The university conducts more than 100 research projects in such fields as biotechnology, biophysics, education, law, sociology, philosophy, computer linguistics, art, etc. Students can study more than 30 modern languages within the walls of the university.
The higher education institution does not prevent transfer from one program to another, allows changing faculties, forms of study and specialties. Those who wish can, in addition to a bachelor's degree, receive a certificate of higher education in another profile (a kind of double diploma) and enroll in a master's degree program in a secondary direction.
