About University

WU is among the top 3% of universities in the world. The quality of education at the University of Warsaw is confirmed by annual assessments conducted by the university itself, which show that most students are satisfied with their choice of university and study programme. The strengths of the university are: its prestige, development opportunities, and learning environment.

Every year, at least 3,350 scientific studies are conducted here, 1,500 national and global projects are carried out, and more than 8,700 scientific articles are published. A huge advantage of the University of Warsaw is that it is equally strong in all areas of knowledge. It is impossible to single out a field where its graduates or scientists have not distinguished themselves. While its archaeologists are excavating in Guatemala, astronomers and astrophysicists are discovering a new class of pulsars and gravitational waves. The same applies to biotechnology and economics, molecular physics and literature. Therefore, about 33 thousand people try to enroll here every year.
