Online filling of the Common Application
International students seeking admission to Colgate University's undergraduate programs through the Common App must complete an online application on the Common App website, submit transcripts, standardized test scores (such as the SAT or ACT), and write an essay and provide letters of recommendation. Applicants will also be asked to create a UChicago account where they can submit information and review their admissions decision.
Payment of the entrance fee
There is a $75 application fee to apply to the University of Chicago.

Providing additional documentation
Students may provide additional materials that demonstrate significant talents, passions, or accomplishments by self-uploading them through their UChicago account. Examples of such materials include, but are not limited to, creative writing projects, music/dance/visual/theater performance pieces, school projects such as AP Capstone or equivalent, research projects, business plans, or other notable work. Students may also submit AP exam scores voluntarily and independently. Schoolhouse.world or Calculus Statistics Mastery Certification Students can include schoolhouse.world certificates with their application. Once you have completed a course certification, you will be able to download a PDF document showing that you have completed the course. You can upload this PDF document to your UChicago account. Applying for an F-1 Student Visa
Once accepted to the university and received an invitation to study, an international student must apply for an F-1 student visa at a U.S. consulate by submitting the required documents and attending an interview.
