University of Tokyo scholarship for outstanding applicants (awarded through the admission screening)

This is the department's own wording on its admission pages. Note the conflict recorded in dataNotes: the 2027 course guideline itself names only University of Tokyo scholarships, whereas the superseded 2026 edition of the guideline named "MEXT (The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) or The University of Tokyo".
